PBEd and Australian Government partner for “A Future That Works"
The world of work is changing and we need to build it back better. “A Future That Works” will establish Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) to engage the private sector in a concerted effort to invest in training and preparing the Philippine labor market for the demands of the future.
The program, a partnership between Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) and the Australian Government, was launched on July 1, 2020 via web conferencing. Ramon del Rosario Jr. (PBEd President), His Excellency Steven J. Robinson AO (Ambassador of Australia to the Philippines), Khalid Hassan and Felix Weidenkaff (International Labour Organization Country Director & Employment Specialist, respectively), Justine Raagas (PBEd Workforce Development Director, and Edgar Chua (MBC Chairman) led the discussion about economic recovery and resilience among top Philippine business leaders.
